The Niles VCS50K is an indoor stereo volume control ideal for both home and commercial sound installations. This sleek control features selectable impedance and has been 100% factory tested for frequency response, distortion, and power handling. The universal impedance magnifying circuit of the VCS50K enables safe connection of up to eight pairs of loudspeakers to a single amplifier or receiver using the VCSHUB8 (sold separately). The VCS50K may be used with 4-, 6-, or 8-ohm speaker systems, and isolated left- and right-channel grounds ensure safety with any amplifier. This “make-before-break” switch design delivers 11-step, pop-free control for a wide range of listening volumes. What’s more, it accommodates up to 16-gauge, stranded-copper wire with two individual runs of two-conductor wire, or one run of four-conductor wire.
