This 2.5 by 2.5-inch-thick post twin over twin Mission style bunk bed comes with 8 wooden slats and can accommodate any standard twin size mattresses. A set of extra pack of 18 slats (Model 4001) has to be purchased separately to support the mattresses. The bunk bed is both functional with many extra options available and well-crafted which is enhanced by the aesthetics of the solid wood construction. To utilize valuable space under the bed, an optional trundle will extend the sleeping capacity or a set of two or four drawers will add more storage.
