Its advanced wireless transmission capabilities open the door to lots of interesting control options using your smartphone or tablet. The BB-ZB1 Gateway connects to a your home's network router via an Ethernet cable and creates a wireless mesh network supporting up to 30 Panamax MD2-ZB and Panamax SP-1000 SmartPlug AC modules (sold separately). This system provides remote on/off control of components or appliances plugged in to those AC outlets, as well as energy monitoring.
