Infrared sensor

Categories

Description

With the infrared sensor from Paulmann, light installations can be switched on and off without touching them. Particularly helpful is the sensor to be able to switch a lamp on dirty, wet or full hands by approaching under 3 cm. The switch sensor is very well suited for use in bathrooms or kitchens to switch cabinet lighting. The installation requires a 14 mm diameter drill hole into which the sensor can be installed inconspicuously. Then the cable can be invisibly led behind the respective piece of furniture along to the switching unit and connected there. The infrared sensor can be used for electronic ballasts up to a capacitive load of 60 watts, for conventional transformers up to an inductive load of 75 watts or for incandescent lamps up to an ohmic load of 250 watts.
