PermaBase 0.5-in x 36-in x 60-in Plus Cement Backer Board

PermaBase® plus BRAND cement board is a lighter weight, rigid substrate made of Portland cement aggregate and glass mesh that provides an exceptionally hard, durable surface that is able to withstand prolonged exposure to moisture. The reinforced edge allows fasteners to be installed closer to the board’s edge and reduces damage from handling. Polystyrene beads embedded in the core help to lighten the board’s weight, improve the ease of cutting, and create lower water absorption, preventing the mortar/finish adhesive from drying prematurely.
