Description
The Phoenix Audio Condor is a beamforming SIP microphone that uses 15 microphones and DSP to pick up audio clearly, all while rejecting and cancelling out noises, echoes, and reverberation. As such, it is quite suitable for video-conferencing, especially when multiple parties are involved at either end of the connection. In order to capture audio at a range of 30', the device deploys seven long-range beams, examining the output from these beams from a preset direction. At the same time, intelligent DSP analyzes the signal multiple times per second in order to make its decisions, thus concluding which audio to keep and which to discard. This results in clear audio, free of echoes and unwanted noises, with uniform levels of speech represented no matter how far away the speaker is standing from the Condor itself.
