Pioneer Premier

The TS-D520C system includes two 5-1/4" woofers, a pair of 1-1/8" polyester tweeters, and a set of external crossover networks. Pioneer covers the polypropylene woofer cones with an outer layer made from basalt fibers mixed with Aramid, the synthetic fiber used in bullet-proof vests. Add in butyl rubber surrounds, and you can count on these cones to broadcast strong bass for years to come. The 1-1/8" polyester soft dome tweeter uses a rear sealed chamber to extend its midrange response, opening up the sound as more sonic details are broadcast from the tweeter. The crossover network uses audiophile-grade components to ensure that you hear pure, uncolored sound. Pioneer includes an adapter that allows you to mount the woofer in a 6"x8" opening, along with three tweeter mounts.
