Multi-layered cone material The TS-C172PRS component system features a 6-3/4" woofer with an exceptionally rigid cone made from polypropylene, Aramid fibers, and glass fibers. The woofer's lightweight micro-fiber surround — Pioneer calls it "artificial suede" — holds its shape even when the speaker's driven hard, so you'll enjoy strong, accurate performance. An aluminum center plug improves sound dispersion and dissipates heat for a longer life.
