The SmartOffice 283 Document Scanner from Plustek features a 600dpi scan element and can process up to 25 pages per minute. The scanner employs image processing, including auto-cropping, auto-alignment, and blank page detection, to ensure scans come out right the first time. The scanner's 50-page ADF and programmable 1-touch scan buttons makes it easy to scan multipage documents in a single step. The buttons can be programmed to save scans as a searchable PDF or to save the file to a specific folder, including a network or FTP folder. Additionally, the buttons can be programmed to send the scans directly to email or to a printer. The included software suite provides a powerful set of tools to help you get the most out of the scanner.
