We have thought of everything you will need for an optimal joint setup. The drill jig body features 2 guide holes located 3/4 in. on center and is precision machined of hardened steel. Its integrated viewing/guide plate is constructed of clear hardened acrylic (3/16 in. thick) for easy viewing. The included (M35) drill bit is made of high-speed steel (with an 8% cobalt alloy), a uniquely strong metal that offers both heat and scratch resistance. The tip of the bit features a 135° split point that both requires less user force and drills directly on contact, thus resulting in cleanly drilled dowel holes.
