Covers feature air circulating ports on all four sides to ensure ample air circulation and proper thermostat operation. Each kit has a permanently attached eight-tumbler type lock and a key that fits multiple installations. The kits include solid or ring mounting bases. Ring base models do not require thermostat removal during guard mounting. No rewiring is necessary
