Designed and built in Australia, the M5 is a microphone a compact 1/2 "cardioid condenser with low noise and one full frequency response. The result of many years of experience in the construction of the award-winning NT5 microphone, RØDE has managed to make a high quality microphone permanently polarized condenser "pencil" that will satisfy even the most demanding artists and engineers. Ideal for studio and live recordings on stage, the M5 is equally at ease on acoustic instruments, choirs, or anywhere you would like to use a small condenser microphone a diaphragm, singularly or stereo. This couple was chosen to ensure a variation of sensitivity not over 1dB between the microphones. The M5 is has a finish with RØDE proprietary ceramic coating that offers an elegant matt black, and is supplied with WS5 windscreen and RM5 supports.
