This is an RPM ESC Cage in Black for the Castle Creations Sidewinder 4 ESC. Have you upgraded your stock ESC to Castle's awesome Sidewinder 4 but don't trust double-sided tape or zip ties to "securely" attach it to the chassis? RPM has you covered! Their lightweight Sidewinder 4 ESC Cage fits in the stock location on the Traxxas Slash 2wd, Slash 2wd LCG, Slash 4x4, Slash 4x4 LCG, Stampede 4x4 & Rally, while also working on other Traxxas 1/10th scale vehicles as well. This cage allows the ESC to be run with or without a fan. It encases the ESC body only, leaving the entire ESC fan free to do its job. Castle did a great job with airflow through the Sidewinder 4 and RPM's ESC cage enhances that free-flowing air movement. Air channels along both sides of the ESC allow air movement along the sides of the case, while the low profile sides leave all of the built-in air vents on the ESC free and clear to flow air properly.
