SharkBite 1/2" EvoPEX Male Adapter (3 Pack)

SharkBite EvoPEX Male Connectors combine evolutionary push-to-connect technology with a brass MNPT adapter on the opposite end. The push-to-connect end is designed for PEX only and can be installed with no solder, glue, unions or tools required. It’s as simple as applying Teflon tape to fitting threads and inserting PEX pipe into the fitting deep enough to be sealed by our specially-formulated O-ring. Once inserted, the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe. A green indicator ring will appear in four slots around the fitting to visually display a secure, permanent, inner-diameter connection. This quick-connect fitting is designed to make PEX-to-NPT connections in potable water and radiant heating (including underground or behind-the-wall) applications with no access panels required. Fittings are rated to 80 psi @ 200°F, 100 psi @ 180°F, and 160 psi @ 73.4°F.
