SharkBite 1/2" EvoPEX FNPT Drop Ear Elbow (3 Pack)

Drop Ear Elbows are used to transition from PEX to threaded pipe, such as shower arms or tub spouts.. SharkBite EvoPEX Drop-Ear Elbows do not require any soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Once inserted, the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe. A green indicator ring will become fully visible in four slots around the fitting to visually display that the permanent inner-diameter connection is secure. This push-to-connect fitting is designed to make PEX-to-NPT connections in potable water and radiant heating (including underground or behind-the-wall) applications with no access panels required. Fittings are rated to 80 psi @ 200°F, 100 psi @ 180°F, and 160 psi @ 73.4°F.
