The Slik Pro 924 CF 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod is a tall and beefy photography tripod that supports enough weight (up to 26.5 lb) to be used with a video head and a camcorder. As for still cameras, the Pro 924 CF is suitable for use with almost any head paired with a medium or large format camera or a DSLR with a zoom or long telephoto lens. The 924 Pro CF reaches a maximum height of 70.5" and weighs 5.1 lb, and it folds down to a relatively short 21.8". The four leg sections are secured and freed by way of twist locks. Because the legs are non-rotating, you can unlock all three of a leg's stages at once by twisting the three large rubber grips with one hand. This enables fast setup of the Pro 924 CF tripod. Rack & pinion gearing elevates the center column, providing maximum precision when you're setting the camera position.
