Smart-AVI KLX-500 Chainable DVI/VGA KVM Extender via LAN

The KLX-500 Chainable DVI/VGA KVM Extender from Smart-AVI consists of the KLX-TX500 Transmitter and KLX-RX500 Receiver. A single extender extends DVI/VGA, KVM, and IR signals up to 500' via LAN. However, multiple extenders can be chained to generate thousands of feet of DVI/VGA, KVM, and IR signal extension, breaking distance barriers. Users can set up their own extension cabling or utilize the pre-existing LAN infrastructure they have access to. The KLX-500 DVI/VGA KVM Extender uses compressed data to utilize Cat5e/6 cables, but users will see no degradation of signal when using one Gigabit Internet connections and up. For users utilizing pre-existing LAN connections, implementing a one Gigabit switch allows for full resolution extension. Users with lesser bandwidth will experience compressed signals, if they choose. With no software or driver required, users can easily extend DVI/VGA, KVM, and IR signals over IP.
