Sony ECM-55B Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with XLR 3-Pin Output

The Sony ECM-55B is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed for broadcast, sound reinforcement, and recording applications. The condenser element features a compact profile allowing it to be easily concealed in performance and broadcast situations. The omnidirectional polar pattern provides even frequency and sensitivity response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The ECM-55B provides a wide frequency response of 30 Hz to 18 kHz for accurate reproduction of audio signal from a variety of sources. The attached 9.8' cable features a power unit with an XLR 3-pin output. It may be operated via the internal battery or 12 to 48 VDC phantom power. The ECM-55B includes tie clips, a metal mesh windscreen, and a microphone case.
