The October Magic Bride Camellia from the Southern Living Plant Collection is a stunner in any landscape. It produces petite very double flowers that are purely white. These will bloom and rebloom in huge numbers every fall. The foliage is dark green and evergreen all year long. Each leaf is small to medium in size, with a leathery texture and glossy sheen. This variety features quite dense growth and a somewhat conical shape. At maturity, it reaches 4 ft. - 5 ft. H and 3 ft. - 4 ft. W. The October Magic Bride Camellia is hardy from USDA Zones 7-9. However, we recommend providing winter safety precautions during its first winter in the landscape. It grows best in locations where it will receive 3-hours to 4-hours of direct sun or all-day filtered sun. Plant in rich acidic soil with good drainage.
