The StarTech USB 3.0/eSATA 1:5 SATA 2.5"/3.5" Standalone HDD Duplicator & Eraser lets you clone the data from one SSD or 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD to up to five SATA drives or use it as a six-bay docking station for your computer. The duplicator sports six drive bays that can accommodate SATA-based 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives as well as SSDs without using additional brackets or adapters. It comes with eSATA and USB 3.0 ports to connect with your computer, and two USB 3.0 ports are available for charging battery-powered devices. Aside from duplicating data, the SATDOCK5U3ER is designed to erase the contents from up to five drives by utilizing Quick Erase and Multipass Overwriting (DoD) modes. Other notable features include two built-in fans for cooling your drives along with an onboard LCD display that provides duplication progress info, drive diagnostics, and review copy/erase results.
