Sunset's 60 Ah solar gel battery is specially designed for small to medium power requirements in the leisure and consumer sector. In photovoltaic island systems, the solar cells convert the light of the sun directly into electrical energy. This energy has to be stored in batteries. These batteries provide power in low sunlight and at night to supply the desired consumers. The permanent charging and discharging, so the cyclical load, makes high demands on the battery of the solar system. These requirements can not or only insufficiently fulfilled by normal starter batteries.
