This is a Female RS232 to TTL serial converter serial cable. The Type I cable converts a serial signal to TTL with connections for Tx, Rx, +3V/+5V and ground. The TTL connector is a 4-pin Fritcion Lock with a 0.100" pitch. This item replaces MCU-016-172
