Tascam

The Tascam LA-80 MKII is an 8-channel line converter built for high quality conversion between lines balanced (+ 4dBu / -20dBu) and unbalanced (-10dB), offering the better integration with all types of equipment. The Tascam LA-80 MKII offers eight unbalanced and eight RCA inputs balanced XLR outputs. The LA-81 MKII has eight XLR inputs balanced and eight unbalanced RCA outputs. Also, both converters have a matrix switch that allows connect the channels using each unit as a distribution amplifier for signal separation towards multiple recorders or for audio routing applications multi-zone. The switches on the bottom panel allow to choose a nominal level of + 4dBu or -20dBu for each channel while the front panel trimmers facilitate optimization of ± 12dB levels. The LEDs on the panel front indicate the presence of the signal on each channel. Ground-lift switches are available on each channel or globally for the elimination of any ground loops.
