Steel String Guitar with Pickup The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile body shape and equally suitable for a wide range of playing techniques. The Builders edition features the Taylor V-Class Bracing, which provides higher volume, extended sustain, and improved intonation. The koa back and sides lend the guitar its tight basses, warm mids and brilliance in the treble. The top made of torrified (heat-treated) sitka spruce ensures optimised vibration behaviour. The rounded contours, arm rest and the bevelled cutaway allow comfortable playing all the way to the highest frets. The satin Kona Burst reduces additional noise caused by friction on the body. The pickup is Taylor's own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, midrange and treble controls.
