Thermo Scientific Orion Glass Body ROSS Ultra Half Cell Electrode, with Screw Cap Connector, 0 to 14 pH

The Thermo Scientific Orion 8101SC ROSS Ultra half-cell pH electrode has a glass body, a screw cap connector with a 1 m (39") cable, and a 0 to 14 pH range. ROSS pH electrodes also have a patented internal reference to minimize drift and equilibrium time. The double-junction reference system separates the sample from contact with silver ions, which means the electrode can be used with samples containing silver complexing or binding agents, such as tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane (TRIS or THAM), proteins, and sulfides. Glass body electrodes are useful in highly corrosive environments where epoxy could be corroded, or around proteins and other compounds with high surface tension. Ultra electrodes come with an extended warranty to 24 months, while typical electrode warranties are 3 to 12 months.
