Tohatsu's MFS 15D L 4-stroke outboard engine delivers performance that is not at the expense of fuel economy and a design that meets the toughest demands. The engine has a power of 11 kW. This corresponds to about 15 hp with a displacement of 351 cc, which, thanks to a specially tuned intake manifold, ensure a spontaneous power delivery. At the same time, the modern cross-flow cylinder head ensures a smooth running. The reliable lubrication of the 2-cylinder engine takes place via the large oil sump with a capacity of 1 l and the thermostatically controlled cooling system ensures a constant cooling water temperature. The engine is started by means of a hand-operated pulley with a large flywheel, whereby an automatic decompression makes starting considerably easier. The front mounted shift lever allows easy and quick shifting. In addition, Tohatsu's MFS 15D L 4-stroke outboard engine has a low-noise propeller hub exhaust.
