The Dwarf Alberta Spruce is a soft compact evergreen with dense needles that will naturally maintain its perfect symmetrical pyramid form. The Alberta is a slow growing shrub, however can grow just about anywhere and is able to withstand temperatures below minus 45°F. The Alberta grows best in zones 2 to 9 and is incredibly drought-tolerant, the perfect shrub for the hottest summers or hard winters. This a slow growing shrub however will eventually reach a height between 10 ft. and 12 ft.
