The SIM7100C 4G Module is based around the ultra-compact and reliable SIM7100C wireless module which is itself based on Qualcomm MDM9215 multiple-mode LTE platform. The SIM7100C is a complete multi-band TDD-LTE/FDD-LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA/GSM/GNSS SMT type module designed with the very powerful Cortex™ A5(550MHz) and 3 x QDSP6 cores (Up to 500Mhz) processors and is extremely flexible in application and is loaded with feature-rich interfaces including UART, USB2.0, SPI, I2C, Keypad, PCM, etc. and readily lends itself to many applications such as TCP/UDP/FTP/FTPS/HTTP/HTTPS/SMTP/POP3 and MMS. The module is able to make and receive voice calls, data calls, SMS and handle GPRS/WCDMA/HSPA+/LTE traffic. It has been incorporated into a development board to enable plug and play connectivity to external modules.
