It can be used as a snoot by forming a tunnel through which the light passes, producing a narrow beam of light. This allows you to target light to specific areas of your subject for dramatic lighting effects. Used as a reflector, this flash accessory can be used to bounce and scatter the light output of a flash unit, to provide a more pleasing and even exposure.
