Description

The self-propelled low-side car is ideal for the combined replacement of the drive in locomotives that do not have an engine. Between 1958 and 1967, DB procured more than 14 200 2-axle flat cars with side wall flaps and folding front borders. They were used for the transport of vehicles, for example Kaelble tractors KV 633/632, and goods with large space requirements. The cars without side stakes were designated as KLS from 1965.
