Gamma Check Pro alerts you to any radioactive contamination straightaway. The device rapidly samples the radiation dose, with readouts displayed in mSv or µSv. This allows a quick assessment of food, equipment and building materials with regard to possible radioactive contamination (readout zero-referenced against natural background radiation). Other features include a real-time clock with automatic summer/winter time changeover and leap year display. Sampling modes include counts, count rate and radiation dose, displayed individually or all at once. Sampling periods start with 1 min, lasting for about 100 days, or ad infinitum, and allow you to set custom radiation limits in the process. Auto-stores the most recent max reading (in µSv per hour), average radialtion levels over the past 24 hours, and time-stamps the most recent radiation dose, counts, count rate readings.
