The WA76 Limiting Amplifier is one modern reproduction of the classic 1176 Revision D. It is done every effort to remain faithful to the original projects, between which the use of the Reichenbach Engineering's transformer (now Cinemag) originally used. The classic 1176 was an important step forward in limiter technology - the first real peak limiter with all transistor circuits which offers superior performance with a distinctive sound - e which sets a standard for all the limiters to follow.
