This Pond Bio Filter System with integrated 13-Watt UV Clarifier is a pressurized biological filtration system for biological and mechanical filtering used for cleaning garden ponds with or without pond fish. Our pond filter system is designed to maintain a constant pressurized water flow using the range of filters to support the optimal clean water quality for healthy fish. The multi-faceted system features a multi-stage filtration system with a vortex filter system, mechanical filter and biological filter to thoroughly eliminate harmful microorganisms and protect livestock from harmful parasites. The biological filter supplements bio-ball filter media to provide larger filtration area and promote growth of beneficial Bio-Spira bacteria. Before the water flows out of the system, it is exposed to ultraviolet radiation under the UV-clarifier lamp to kill off germs and bacteria while inhibiting algae growth. Recommended for ponds and waterfalls up to 2500 Gal. as it can be placed in the water or outside of it.
