BIND

Part 2 provides information on conﬁguring and managing the TCP/IP Services

name server and includes the following chapters:

• Chapter 5, Conﬁguring and Managing BIND, describes how to conﬁgure and

manage the TCP/IP Services implementation of the Berkeley Internet Name

Domain (BIND) software.

• Chapter 6, Using DNS to Balance Work Load, describes how to use BIND’s

round-robin scheduling or the load broker for cluster load balancing.
