5. Edit the /kernel/drv/scsi_vhci.conf file to register the HP 3PAR devices.

6. Use the Solaris stmsboot command to enable multipathing for the boot device. The host
server will be rebooted when stmsboot –e is run.

7. The stmsboot command makes edits to the /etc/dumpadm.conf and /etc/vfstab files
needed to boot successfully using the new Solaris I/O Multipathing single-device node for the
multipathed boot device. The new single-device node incorporates the HP 3PAR StoreServ
Storage VLUN WWN:
