Problem: Serviceguard for Linux Oracle Toolkit version
A.04.00 does not handle multiple versions of databases.
This occurs when certain Oracle variables are set to a
value that corresponds to only one version of database
in the Oracle administrator’s profile file.
Resolution: A configurable variable can be used to
indicate whether the Oracle administrator's shell
should be invoked as a new shell or as a sub-shell of the
parent shell. If the Oracle administrator's shell is
invoked as a new shell, the variables set in the profile
file will be available to the new shell. If the Oracle
administrator's shell is invoked as a sub-shell of the
parent shell, the variables set in the profile file are not
available for use. However, in the second case, ensure
that variables used by Oracle are not set in the parent
shell.
