Setting up Outbound PPP Connections
All outbound PPP connections are started through the user-generated
/etc/ppp/Autostart file. The start-up script for PPP,
/sbin/init.d/ppp, looks for this file and sources it if it exists.
/sbin/init.d/ppp is shipped in PPP-RUN. The SLIP product does not
have a start-up script. It is up to you, the system administrator, to create
the /etc/ppp/Autostart file with the necessary PPP outbound
connections (described in Chapter 2).
