NDCS follows a client/server architecture:

NDCS Services
Using the DB Admin tool’s Connectivity tab, you can display the overall state of the Neoview
Data Connectivity Service (NDCS) and display status information for:
• Data services
• Data sources on the service
• Servers on the service
The left side of the screen displays NDCS Services. The right side displays status.
Expand NDCS Services on the left side of the screen to see a list of configurations on the system.
Select a service to display its status.
You can perform a Refresh operation on NDCS services by right-clicking NDCS Services and
selecting Refresh.
You can view status of all data sources, all servers, or all NDCS services:
1. Start DB Admin and log on using any user ID.
2. Click the Connectivity tab. NDCS Services is selected.
