Setting the memory manager’s polling

The memory manager examines the use of memory on a regular basis to
ensure PRM groups are using memory as specified in the configuration.
You can change the frequency of these examinations by changing the
polling interval of the manager.
The default polling interval for the memory manager is 10 seconds.
Change the interval on the command line as explained in the following
section. You can also change the interval in the PRM interface in HP
System Management Homepage or in HP Systems Insight Manager.
Setting the interval with prmconfig
To manually change the length of the polling interval, enter the following
command, substituting a numerical value for interval_in_seconds:
# prmconfig -I interval_in_seconds MEM
