3. The security of Netvue Cloud
Netvue Cloud is built on Amazon Web Service (AWS), the world’s most
comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 165 fully featured
services from data centers globally.All our audio/video data are saved in Amazon S3,
which provides a highly durable storage infrastructure. Amazon S3 is private and can
only be accessed only by users that are explicitly granted access.
Following this, access to user data is strictly controlled. Each device of each user has
a separate partition storage to ensure that it will not be accessed by others. Unless
you share your device with other users, no one can access your data, even us.
4. Tips to Reinforce Home Security System
Here are some precautions you can take to further reinforce home security and
decrease the odds of being hacked:
1. Buy security cameras with advanced encryption from a trusted brand, just like
Netvue;
2. Use a powerful App/router password that would be difficult for someone to figure
out;
3. Pick a router with high-security performance, such as allow you to set a Whitelist of
accessible devices, or alert you when a strange device is connected to your WiFi ;
4. Upgrade camera firmware in time;
5. Don’t connect your device to unsecured public WiFi;
