3. Install the WBEM rpm as follows (all on one line):
rpm -ihv

Installing Serviceguard Manager for Linux
Before You Start
Before you start make sure you have done the following:
1. Installed Red Hat 5 or SLES 10
2. Installed Serviceguard for Linux A.11.19
3. Checked that libXp is installed.
NOTE: libXp is usually already installed as part of SLES 10. For Red Hat 5, you
will usually need to install it explicitly from the distribution CD.
4. Downloaded and installed the Java SE Development kit (JDK):
For IA32 and x86_64:
Go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Select the Java JDK 1.6 Update 12 or later and follow the instructions for
downloading the Linux rpm.
NOTE: As of the date of publication of these Release Notes, HP recommends
you use JDK version 1.6.0 Update 12.
Make sure you write down the path to the JDK binary, for example /usr/
java/jdk1.6.0_12/bin/java. You will need it to complete the
hpsmh-tomcat installation; see “Installing the Serviceguard Manager
Software”.
For IA64:
Go to http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/6u11/
index.html
Select Download JDK for Java JDK 1.6 Update 11 or later, and then Linux
Intel Itanium and follow the instructions for downloading the Linux rpm.
