Editing Parameters in the Configuration File
Use the information on the Package Configuration worksheet to
complete the file. You can also refer to the comments in the configuration
template for additional explanation of each parameter. You can include
the following information:
data_rep
The default value is xdcmd.
rpo_target
Enter -1 to ignore any time-window checks on the disk set, 0 to
ensure the package does not start on an adoptive node with a mirror
half that is not current or any positive integer.
raid_monitor_interval
Any positive integer. The default value is 30 seconds.
raid_device
This parameter specifies the MD devices that are used by a package.
Component device parameters such as Device_0 and device_1
specify the component devices for the parent MD device.
Configuring the RAID Monitoring Service
After you edit the variables in the Extended Distance Cluster
Configuration section of the template file, you must set up RAID
monitoring as a service within HP Serviceguard. Following is an example
of what the file content must look like:
