HP Insight Dynamics 6.0 Release notes

mapping), it may take up to 30 minutes for those changes to be reflected in the SPM storage
catalog.
Suggested action After making an EVA modification using CommandView, an SPM user must
either wait up to 30 minutes before the change is visible to SPM, or manually cause the EVA to
release the updated EVA information from its cache.
To refresh, manually restart the HP StorageWorks CIM Object Manager and then refresh the
array or volume information in SPM (depending on the type of EVA change made in
CommandView). For example, if a new volume was created on the EVA array, and you want to
see it in SPM, restart the CIM Object Manager, start SPM, refresh information from the array,
and if desired, import the new volumes into the catalog.
Insight Managed System Setup Wizard
Limitations
Privilege elevation configuration that requires a password by the privilege elevation tool is not
supported
Insight managed system setup wizard supports privilege elevation only on a CMS that has
privilege elevation configured so that no password is required by the privilege elevation tool
(such as su and sudo). If you attempt to configure features when privilege elevation is turned
on and requires a password, you may see failures in the wizard's execution output.
Suggested action If a feature fails to configure correctly because of privilege elevation password
requirements, configure the feature outside of the managed system setup wizard.
To turn off the requirement for a password, use the Systems Insight Manager
OptionsSecurityPrivilege Elevation menu, and uncheck the check box labeled A password
is required for this privilege elevation tool.” Note that systems managed by the CMS must be
reconfigured to reflect this configuration change.
HP Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO3) is not supported
HP Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO3) is not supported in the current release of Insight managed
system setup wizard. However, iLO3 is not excluded as a target. If iLO3 is used as a target, a
license will fail to be applied (the lmSetILOKey method will fail with return code 26) and Single
Sign On will not be able to configure the trust relationship with the iLO3. Neither of these issues
impacts iLO or iLO2.
Suggested action 1 Check for future versions of iLO3 firmware in which licensing will work
due to an SSH output change, and Single Sign On support will be included.
Suggested action 2 Assign licenses manually using the iLO user interface or the set command.
See the iLO documentation for more information.
Log into the iLO without using SSO.
HP Integrity rx2620 is not supported
In this release, using the Insight managed system setup wizard to configure an HP Integrity
rx2620 server is not supported.
Suggested action Manually configure HP Integrity rx2620 servers.
Insight managed system setup wizard does not upgrade from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 on an HP-UX CMS
The Insight managed system setup wizard 6.0.0 does not upgrade to 6.0.1. The database of saved
management features will be lost during this upgrade on an HP-UX CMS. Note that if you
performed a configuration of managed nodes using the managed system setup wizard on 6.0.0,
this previous configuration is retained. The selected features are not retained in the database
when 6.0.0 is upgraded to 6.0.1.
