Setting Up the Windows
Ethernet Client
Each MediaNetwork Windows Ethernet client needs to be installed
properly to function in a MediaNetwork workgroup or in a LANshare
workgroup.

Installation Prerequisites
The Windows Ethernet client software requires that you install several
software packages before you start an installation. Installing an Ethernet
client without the prerequisite software packages causes the client installer
to quit.
The Ethernet client requires the following software, depending on your
operating system:
• Windows NT Service Pack 5 or 6a
• Windows NT hotfix
