connect
NOTE: To use this subcommand, you must have Administrator privilege.
Description
The connect command is used to redirect the serial console of server or I/O
modules.
NOTE: The connect command is only available from the serial/Telnet/SSH console,
and not through the remote racadm.
NOTE: If an IOM switch does not support console redirection, the connect
command displays an empty console. To return to the CMC console, enter the
escape sequence; the default console escape sequence is
<Ctrl>\.
NOTE: Only one IOM switch connection is allowed for each chassis at a time.
NOTE: You cannot connect to pass-through switches.
Usage
connect [-b] server-<n> (n=1-16)
connect [-b] switch-<n> (n=1-6)
connect [-b] switch-[a|b|c]<n> (n=1-2)

Option Description
-b The -b (binary) option passes raw binary data, and the
cfgSerialConsoleQuitKey is not used. Additionally, when
connecting to a system using the CMC serial console, transitions in
the DTR signal (for example, if the serial cable is removed to connect
to an opeating system debugger) do not cause a logout. This option is
primarily provided for operating system debugging.
