4. Specify the network configuration for this logical server.
a. Click Add Network and add at least one management network that communicates with
the CMS.
If you have a deployment server that you would also like to test, you may optionally
enable the added network for PXE boot. Otherwise you may install the OS using virtual
media through the vCenter or MS VMM server console access to the VM.
b. Click Next.
5. Review the new Logical Server Summary.
a. Correct any issues.
b. Click Finish.
c. Click Activate.
6. To verify that the Logical Server was successfully created, click Tools→Logical Servers→Activate
and select the logical server. The Activate: Assign Logical Servers to Target Hosts screen
appears.
a. Select the appropriate host for this logical server. Leave Power on the VM enabled unless
you are not prepared to provision the OS at this time.
b. If the host you wish to select is not listed as a valid candidate, it may be listed in the
Rejected Target Hosts list. You can hover over the host to determine the reason why it
was rejected.
c. Click Activate.
7. Click Confirm to begin the activation.
