Chapter 5. Naming Service
This section applies to the CORBAservices: Common Object Services Specification (Naming Service
Specification), Version 1.2September 2002 .
NonStop CORBA supports all mandatory Naming Service interfaces and features described in the OMG
specification. NonStop CORBA enhances the implementation through scalability. There are no API-level
enhancements.
Note that NonStop CORBA implements the Naming Service as described in the OMG PTC/020902
specification, which includes the RIR (Resolve Initial References) protocol described in section 2.6 of
the specification.
