Fixes for 7.3.0-00
When hosts were added by specifying the range of IP addresses from the Add Hosts dialog box
in the Device Manager GUI, an Out Of Memory error occurred.
After restarting a SUSE Linux host, the Device Manager agent service might not start automatically.
The insserv command might not have executed properly if the Device Manager agent was
installed on SUSE Linux. This might have caused Command View Advanced Edition Suite to not
install.
DeleteStoragePool or ExposePaths of the CIM/WBEM function might not have completed.
If Device Manager on Linux continued to be operated without stopping for a long time, the file
capacity used by Device Manager increased continually.
If Device Manager managed external storage systems, a shrink operation for a THP pool that was
composed of external volumes generated a KAIC16993-E error.
In the GUI, even after refreshing an XP P9500 that had at least one THP pool, Smart pool or
Snapshot pool, the KAIC15056-W message that prompted refreshing appeared.
When logging in to the GUI, the Tier Residency in Dashboard tab did not appear and the
KAIC16993-E error might occur.
The insserv command might not work properly if Host Data Collector was installed on SUSE
Linux. This problem might cause installations of Command View Advanced Edition Suite to not
succeed.
Because of this, some issues might occur, such as an inability to install Command View Advanced
Edition Suite.
After rebooting the SUSE Linux host, the Device Manager agent service did not start automatically.
The Device Manager GUI might malfunction when the top priority of the external path was moved
to a different priority level in the Virtualize Volumes dialog box.
If the CIM/WBEM function was used, the property DeviceID of HITACHI_StorageVolume
might be invalid when all of the following conditions were met:
The storage system was one of the following:
XP P9500
