Configuration procedure
1. Configure IP addresses for interfaces. (Details not shown.)
2. Configuring basic OSPF (see "Basic OSPF configuration example").
3. Configure Area 1 as an NSSA area:
# Configure Router A.
<RouterA> system-view
[RouterA] ospf
[RouterA-ospf-1] area 1
[RouterA-ospf-1-area-0.0.0.1] nssa
[RouterA-ospf-1-area-0.0.0.1] quit
# Configure Firewall.
<Firewall> system-view
[Firewall] ospf
[Firewall-ospf-1] area 1
[Firewall-ospf-1-area-0.0.0.1] nssa
[Firewall-ospf-1-area-0.0.0.1] quit
[Firewall-ospf-1] quit
NOTE:
To allow Firewall in the NSSA area to reach other areas within the AS, you must provide the
keyword default-route-advertise for the nssa command issued on Router A (the ABR) so Firewall
can obtain a default route.
Configuring the nssa command with the keyword no-summary on Router A can reduce the routin
g
table size on NSSA routers. On other NSSA routers, you only need to configure the nssa command.
# Display routing information on Firewall.
[Firewall] display ospf routing
