Serviceguard for Linux and Related Software Installation
Java JDK
Serviceguard Manager requires Java 1.6 or greater and recommended is Java 7 update 4.
Tomcat
Serviceguard Manager only supports Tomcat 5 and Tomcat 6. Make sure that Tomcat 5 or Tomcat 6
is installed before running the cmeasyinstall script. After installation, verify the easy install log for
status of the installation and warning/error messages.
Serviceguard for Linux Installation Script
The Serviceguard for Linux Installation script will guide you through the process of installing
Serviceguard and Serviceguard Manager from the DVD. It also checks for dependencies and
prompts you to install the required software or packages, if not already installed. This script
streamlines the installation of the several rpm packages that are included on the DVD, reducing the
installation from many commands to just one command to invoke the script.
This script needs to be run on each sever
The script will prompt for the directory path where the Serviceguard for Linux DVD is mounted. It will
check for Linux packages that are required as prerequisites for Serviceguard and Serviceguard
